Welcome to the MSK Ultrasound course
This complete MSK Ultrasound course, intended for physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and physicians, is structured into four modules.
- Introductory Module(2 days) Covers ultrasound physics, anatomy and SonoAnatomy, providing a solid foundation.
- Advanced Upper and Lower Body Modules(2 days each) Focuses on specific pathologies and imaging reports.
- Final module(2 days) It is dedicated to ultrasound-guided invasive techniques, emphasizing the development of practical skills.
This course combines theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, equipping healthcare professionals with essential skills for effective diagnosis and treatment using MSK ultrasound.
During this course, we exclusively use Vinno ultrasound devices, offered by our partner Numeris Medical, and the courses will also be available on the Eduson medical platform.

About the instructors
Alexandru Mazareanu
-PT, DOMP, MSKUS-
Alexandru is a physiotherapist from Romania and works in Bucharest.
At the beginning of his university studies, he attended the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at UNEFS Bucharest. After three years of study, he decided that in order to understand the dynamics of the human body, it was necessary to delve deeper into its mechanisms, so in 2013, he enrolled in the Faculty of Physiotherapy and Special Motricity at the same university.
In 2015, Alexandru began studying osteopathy, attending various courses offered by OMT London (Osteon Manual Therapy London). In 2018, he continued his training in this field at LCO Canada (London College of Osteopathy and Health Science), within the DOMP (Diploma in Osteopathy Manual Practice) program. Thus, he expanded his career in the field of manual osteopathy, applying this effective and successful method to treat most musculoskeletal and structural conditions associated with poor alignment, trauma, injuries or aging.
In 2018, Alexandru also began his studies at DGSA Academy. In 2019, he became an internationally certified Dry Needling therapist (DGSA®) and began teaching the Dry Needling technique in Romania and Moldova.
His special interest is focused on the study of the anatomy and physiology in the cause-effect relationship of trigger points in various orthopedic and neurological pathologies. Dry Needling treatment methods, as well as their combination with osteopathy knowledge, represent the main focus of his activity.
In 2020, he began studying musculoskeletal ultrasound at Brunel University, and in 2022, he completed the PgCert Diagnostic MSKUS program at the University of East London. He subsequently began delivering musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSKUS) seminars for physiotherapists and doctors.
In 2023, he began working with Romania's Olympic gymnastics and athletics teams as a lead physiotherapist.
